Where does a women shop in her 40's in Halifax?

When I moved to #Halifax in 2006, I was mortified! No Sunday Shopping! What the heck was that all about? Now what was I going to do during my time off on the weekends? Luckily, this did not last for long. Not long after my move, #Halifax got with the times, and opened their retail doors every Sunday. I got out, shopped around and found the perfect places for professional women attire.

First stop, John David Shoes located in the Park Lane Mall. For those of you who know me as #dealsinheels, I was in absolute heaven. They had all the brand names, #JessicaSimpson #Guess #MichaelKors and my favorite #vincecamuto While brands have changed and come and gone, the one thing that has remained consistent is the friendly service you receive. It truly is a unique experience. You are just not a customer.

Next stop, clothing. There are a few places that I frequent, but my favorite of all time has to be Suit Yourself. Lori Pearce the owner of Suit Yourself located downtown Halifax offers a wide variety of Canadian Designers garbs. From skinny jeans by #dex to beautiful gowns and dress clothes by #franklyman Lori truly brings that personal touch as well to her clients. Heck you can even bring your man along and have him sit and sip on a glass of wine as you model your latest passion. What I really like though, is the attention I receive. I can call Lori at anytime to let her know that I am coming in for a visit and she will have an array of clothing set aside for me to try on. She has come to know my style over the years and knows exactly what looks good. To appease the honey in your life, she carries a small line of men’s suits and shirts. Ahh, those Italian Shirts, they will make the man in your life sexier than any Hollywood Star.
