Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia, is easily one of the best cities on the east coast. Often regarded as one of Canada’s friendliest city, Halifax residents are a welcoming bunch. When you move here into your forever home, it will not take very long for you to make friends. The Haligonian community is a tight-knit one so you will always be surrounded by good friends and a community that you can be proud to belong to.

Halifax also has the broadest selection of education options in Canada with a total of 14 independent schools situated in the city.
It is the perfect size
If you have been living in a big city and are finally ready to find a region that is less overwhelming, then Halifax is the perfect city for you to move to. You will appreciate the balance that it has to offer-Halifax has the flare of a large city but the charm of a small town.
The downtown area is a hub of business, culture, and food. But when you head up to North end, you will feel as if you are in a completely different city. Furthermore, Halifax really does have some of the best neighborhoods that have a perfect mix of new and old property to cater to an array of tastes.
